The Bulwagang Recoletos Atrium was initially intended as a place reserved for the activities of the Order of the Augustinian Recollects before it was opened to the public. Now, the Atrium can be used as a reception space for scheduled special events and occasions. There are two ballrooms inside Bulwagang Recoletos Atrium called the Bagumbayan Uno and Bagumbayan Dos. Bagumbayan Uno can accommodate up to 80 persons while Bagumbayan Dos can take in up to people. There are two choices of halls as well, namely Intramuros and Zambales Halls. Nonetheless, the two halls can be combined to cater to a total of to heads. Other rentable spaces are the Café and St. Nicholas of Tolentine, which has a capacity of 30 to 50 and 50 to 70, respectively. These are perfect for more intimate gatherings. Then, there’s the Cassiciacum Garden, which can hold up between an

The Atrium in Makati City is a quaint, dry and dusty building. It sits on Makati Avenue, across from the Ayala Triangle, and right beside the tall, solid glass wall of the Zuellig Building. Although both are unmistakably commercial edifices, being located centrally in one of Manila&#;s business districts, there is a striking contrast between the two structures&#; appearances. One speaks of modernity, and admirable is the manner by which it blends with the sky. Viewed from a distance, on overcast days with a uniform gray sky, the Zuellig nearly disappears behind the reflection on its mirror-like exterior, and if one had poor vision she might not see it at all while gazing at Makati&#;s skyline. The other building, meanwhile, is from an older era. The Atrium is more at home with the utilitarian offices like those which house SGV & Co. and National Life Insurance on Ayala Avenue; its architecture belongs to that style which still dominates Legazpi Village and the many roads that feed into Ayala and Buendia. But not on Makati Avenue itself—here the ultra-modern reigns over all. Here, steel and glass captures all attention, turns all heads, and leaves nothing for the quaint, t

Glass Atriums.

Through a comprehensive understanding of the full structural capability of glass, Radii Planet Group utilise innovative design and manufacturing methods to produce multi-storey glazed atria that provide truly stunning visual experiences.

MAKING LIGHT WORK.

Through the use of large expanses of glass, an atrium can flood the internal space with natural light and maximise the effect it has on the atmosphere of the building.

Glass can be an integral part of any atrium design and has the potential for providing the optimum specification when it comes to aesthetics and technical demands. It also encompasses structural resistance, energy control, acoustics fire resistance, and the control of natural light.

At RPG we understand all this and provides the perfect balance between visual appearance and building function. Our in-house team of designers, project managers, and licensed structural engineers take an atrium project from the preliminary concept, through the design development and value engineering phase, all the way to construction completion.
